A plugin allowing you to change the WP-Syntax code highlighting color scheme elegantly.<\/p>\n\n

WP-Syntax<\/a> rawks for writing about geeky stuff, but I want it more blacker. And I want a CSS file to hack instead of those icky and inefficient inline styles.<\/p>\n\n

I got the basic idea from WP-Syntax-Colorizer<\/a> but went further with an external CSS file.<\/p>\n\n\n

Prerequisite<\/h4>\n\n

  1. Install WP-Syntax<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    Installification<\/h4>\n\n
      \n

    1. Either<\/p>\n\n

        \n

      1. Unpack the zip file and upload the files to wp-content\/plugins\/wp-syntax-hacktify<\/code>,<\/p>\n\n

        or my favorite,<\/p><\/li>\n

      2. Check it out fresh with Subversion:<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n
        \n             cd wp-content\/plugins\n             svn co http:\/\/svn.wp-plugins.org\/wp-syntax-hacktify\/trunk wp-syntax-hacktify\n<\/pre>\n\n

        1. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.<\/li>\n
        2. Enjoy my colors, or override them yourself by making a file named uglier_syntax_styles.css<\/code> in your plugins directory (wp-content\/plugins<\/code>)!  Use wp-content\/plugins\/wp-syntax-hacktify\/hacktified.css<\/code> as an example.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n
