To install a demo, activate the plugin, then navigate to <strong>Appearances \u2192 Get started<\/strong> and follow the instructions.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Please note<\/strong>: importing a demo package will result in your site's database and <code>wp-content\/uploads<\/code> folder to be overwritten with demo content.<\/p>\n\n<blockquote>\n  <p>It's recommended you make a backup of your site if you have pre-existing content.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p>For more information on how the plugin works, please refer to the FAQ section below.<\/p>\n\n<!--section=installation-->\n<h4>Minimum Requirements<\/h4>\n\n<ul>\n<li>PHP version 7.2 or greater is required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<!--section=faq-->\n<dl>\n<dt id='which%20themes%20are%20compatible%3F'><h3>Which themes are compatible?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Only <a href=\"https:\/\/pressmodo.com\">Pressmodo<\/a> themes are compatible.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id='how%20does%20the%20plugin%20work%3F'><h3>How does the plugin work?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Each <a href=\"https:\/\/pressmodo.com\">Pressmodo<\/a> theme provides a number of demo packages (.zip files) that can be used to install a replica of the live demo.<\/p>\n\n<p>The onboarding process will require you to upload the .zip file of the demo you wish to install onto your site. The process will then:<\/p>\n\n<ol>\n<li>Unpack the demo package within the wp-content folder of your site.<\/li>\n<li>Start the installation and activation of all plugins required by the demo.<\/li>\n<li>Replace your wp-content\/uploads folder with the necessary demo files.<\/li>\n<li>Overwrite your site's database with the one provided by the demo.
