Description
Are you a member of Stichting Webshop Keurmerk, the Dutch trust mark for online stores? With this official plugin you can show the Webshop Keurmerk badge on your store in a few minutes, linking to your own page on keurmerk.info. Optionally paste the widget code from your member portal to also show your customer reviews.
- Trust badge with a link to your member page: just enter your member number
- Review widget: paste the code from your member portal (Reviews, Integration)
- Three ways to place it: automatically in the footer, the shortcode [webshop-keurmerk], or the „Webshop Keurmerk” block in the editor
- Automatic review invitations for WooCommerce orders (optional): when an order reaches the status you choose, Webshop Keurmerk invites the customer to write a review
- Works with and without WooCommerce
- Privacy-friendly: the plugin sets no cookies and only sends customer email addresses to Webshop Keurmerk if you switch on review invitations

External services
This plugin connects to services of Stichting Webshop Keurmerk:
- Membership check: to decide whether the badge may be shown, the plugin asks https://www.keurmerk.info/wp-json/keurmerk/v1/member-status whether your member number is active. It sends your member number and the name of the platform (woocommerce). The result is cached for one hour. No personal data is sent.
- Review invitations (optional, WooCommerce only, off until you enter an API key): when an order reaches a status you selected, the plugin sends your API key, the invitation language and the customer’s billing email address to https://api.keurmerk.info/v1/reviews/invitations. Webshop Keurmerk then emails the review invitation.

FAQ
-
Do I need to be a member?
-
Yes. The trust badge may only be displayed by stores that are a member of Stichting Webshop Keurmerk. You can apply via keurmerk.info.
-
No. The plugin does not set cookies.
-
Which data does the plugin send for review invitations?
-
Only if you enter an API key: the billing email address of the order and the language of the invitation (Dutch or English). Each order gets at most one invitation, and a note is added to the order. Mention this in your privacy statement.
-
I already use the WooCommerce webhook from my member portal. Should I also enter an API key?
-
No. Use one of the two. If the webhook from your member portal already sends invitations, leave the API key field in the plugin empty, otherwise a customer may receive two invitations for the same order.
-
Where do I find my member number?
-
In your member portal on keurmerk.info, or in your membership confirmation email.

Changelog
1.1.1
- Settings screen and FAQ now warn not to combine the plugin’s review invitations with the WooCommerce webhook from the member portal, to avoid double invitations.
1.1.0
- New: automatic review invitations for WooCommerce orders. Enter an API key from your member portal and choose the order statuses; each order gets at most one invitation and an order note shows the result.
- Declared compatible with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS).
1.0.2
- The status check now also reports which platform is asking (internal use only, no personal data), so we can see which integrations are actually being used.
1.0.1
- The badge is now only shown after a live check confirms the membership is active/approved with Stichting Webshop Keurmerk (cached for 1 hour). Previously the badge showed as soon as a member number was entered, without verifying it was actually approved or still active.
1.0.0
- First release: trust badge with member link, review widget via widget code, footer/shortcode/block placement.
